Other models out there..walking runway bare foot? So I am in a swim suit show coming up and the designer wants us to walk barefoot, because she feels heels will draw away from the suits. Any tips on how to walk runway better barefoot? I mean it is really hard to walk on the balls of your feet without heels, at least for me. |

A few years ago they had the contestants on the Miss America pageant do the swimsuit competition barefoot and virtually all of them looked awkward as hell -- as if they had never walked barefoot in their lives.
Walking barefoot is supposed to be the most natural thing in the world. Do practice ahead of time. Walk barefoot around the house and out into the yard -- around the block even, Get used to feeling the world around your barefoot,
There really are no tips.
Good luck! :) |
What's the best place online to find swimsuit models posing barefoot? I love looking at bikini models, swimsuit models, and fitness models. Does anybody know of a good site that has pics of them showing their bare feet? |

Why do so many women think it is OK to go bare legged to work? I work in a professoinal office, that expects the women to dress as well as the men. No man would come to the office in has business suit wearing open toe sandles and bare feet. Why do so many women think that they should? Not only does it look tacky, and unprofessional, but it is impractical too.
My job takes me into city streets, where my legs and feet may be sprayed by a bus, or to construction sites full on dust , mud, sawdust' etc. I wear 3" pumps to work everyday, and also keep a pair of penny lofers handy to slip on if conditions are really bad.
If my Shoes legs get a little dirty , I just wipe them off, and change my hose. If I was wearing strapy open heels and bare leggs as so many women seem to think is OK, I would be hopping around restrooms everyday trying to wash my feet between appointments.
Don't say I am ashmed of my feet either, because I have been shoe and leg modelling since I was 17, and have seen my feet in enough Sunday suppliments to know better! |
I think you are right, if you work in a professional office where people dress up bare legs are not appropriate.
Also, you it is appearent that you work as some kind of banker, real estate developer , archetect ,insurance company, etc. The person who told you to wear construction boots obviously has no clue that business people in business dress visit construction sites all the time and don't lug work boots around with them. I go on site a lot in my business suit, and wear dress boots in winter, and keep flats handy in the summer. |
Girls, how tall are you in bare feet? Female models average almost my height. How about you? Standing as tall as you can, but with your heels on the ground, would you look up or down into my eyes, and how would your bare feet compare? (I'm 5'10.5, mens size 10.5 feet) |
I'm pretty tall
I'm almost 6 feet.
Hell, I'm taller than you!

Running with Bare Feet? I've never been much of a runner, but I'd like to start. I've also heard that sneakers and running shoes are actually bad for your feet and running barefoot can be life-changing, if done properly.
So, I suppose my question is whether or not I should run in shoes or bare feet. Is it really better? I already don't like wearing shoes, so I fear that I may be buying into something I only hope is true. Also, if it is true, I understand that there are many risks if you jump into it too fast and ignore the signs that it is time to stop. Would you happen to have a link to a site that gives a barefoot training plan?
Also, I've heard of the fantastic Five Finger bare-feet shoes. I live in Sweden right now, and something tells me that running bare foot in the next couple of months may be a bad idea with winter just around the corner. Are the Five Fingers sufficient enough to protect against the cold? Which model would I want?
I suppose, in the end, I'm just looking for a bulk of information that Google has yet to satisfy enough. Thank you. |
Hey CJ -
Barefoot running vs running with shoes has been a hot topic in the running world recently, and people tend to have very strong feelings about which they think is better & safer. Jenny Hadfield over at Runner's World recently answered a question on this topic in her column, which was the most balanced and insightful explanation of both sides (including a few words from Jessica Lee, who started RunBare) that I've heard. Give it a read - hopefully it will clear things up for you a bit.

Guys only, would you model off your feet for one hundred dollars? Someone comes up to you with a camera and asks if they can photograph your bare feet for 100 dollars, would you let them? |
| Lol yeah I'd say it's worth it. |
How come when ever males or females are modeling clothes or shoes, there never wearing socks? I'm just wondering because there either bare foot or not wearing socks in their shoes. |
| The focus is either the clothes or the shoes. Socks can be a distraction to what they are trying to advertise. |
Does anyone have fashion show music suggestions? I am doing a fashion show and all of the models are wearing floaty dresses and we have flowers and bare feet etc . . . does anyone know any songs that are good songs to walk to but kind of girly and floaty? |
Lisa Mitchell - Neopolitan Dreams
Its such a floaty song you might recognise it from an advert on tv.

What is the "actual" percentage of the world population with a foot fetish? I think estimates may be very low and vastly under reported.
I used to run a mainstream pro-modeling site that was at the top of google search listings for many months and the number one most requested image type was always barefoot by a wide margin, and the site had nothing whatsoever to do with fetish. In fact, these requests actually became very annoying.
Check out the view stats at most image and video sharing sites. Very often the most viewed material of people are the ones that show bare feet by a huge margin. How do they explain several images of the same model in a series and the only image showing a glimpse of feet has 1000% times the number of views regardless if it is the worst image?
This does not seem to jive with the official estimates! Maybe it is finally time this fetish is given much more respect. There is supporting evidence all over the web this is mainstream. |
i am not completely sure about that, i dont think anyone ever did a study on it
what you could do, is take a poll of people here on yahoo answers, and see what percentage of that group likes feet, that would give you a decent estimate of the worldwide amount |
